How does Tipser work?
- Your customers place their smartphone on the Tipser.
- A page appears, then they select the tip amount.
- The customer selects the payment method: Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card.
How do I receive my tips?
You receive your tips automatically in your bank account every 3 business days. You can check the status of your transfers in the 'Track My Tips' section.
Are the tips I receive taxable?
All tips received during the year 2024 can be tax-exempt when declared in 2025 for the 2024 income. This mainly applies to tips paid by credit card for professions serving the public or interacting with people, such as cafés, restaurants, hotels, and hair salons. However, there are two conditions to qualify for tax exemption on tips:
- D’une part, la défiscalisation est possible si et seulement si le salaire est inférieur à 1.6 fois le SMIC.
Pour la déclaration 2025 (donc des revenus 2024), sachez que 1.6 SMIC en 2024 représente 2 237,9 € net mensuels.
- Il faut également que les pourboires représentent moins de 20% du salaire total. Soit un pourboire inférieur ou égal à 465,58 € par mois demeure non imposable.
Do establishments have to bear any charges related to tips received through Tipser?
Les collaborateurs reçoivent le montant de leur pourboires par virement sur leur compte personnel. Vous n’avez donc aucune charge à payer sur ces pourboires.
What is a Tipser reference?
Une référence Tipser est un identifiant unique attribué à chaque salon pour tracer les pourboires et les lier directement à l’établissement.
How is a Tipser reference generated?
Elle est générée automatiquement à partir des informations du salon (nom, adresse, ID interne) lors de son inscription dans le système.
How to retrieve a salon's Tipser reference?
La référence peut être récupérée via l’interface d’administration ou une API. Elle peut aussi être affichée dans l’application utilisée par le salon.
Is the Tipser reference visible on employees' devices?
Cela dépend de la configuration. Elle peut être visible sur les interfaces utilisateurs ou uniquement dans l’administration.
